A 503 Kgs. (1.109 Lbs.) Blue Marlin caught by the Binder's (father&son) from Germany in July 1994 on "Diablo" with 80 Lbs. tackle at the "Placer de la Guaira" 5 miles away from the coast.

Caraballeda is a picturesque and small vacation city, at the center of the Caribbean Coast of Venezuela, 45 Kms. from Caracas and 20 Kms., from the International Airport Simón Bolívar.

 

The Marinas are situated across the street from hotels.

Only costs left out are dinners, wich we leave for your choosing at any of the restaurants in the hotel surrounding areas.

Golf, tennis and general recreation activities are available in the two best beach clubs.

 
DEEP SEA FISHING AND BOTTOM FISH:
Fishing grounds are but minutes away, anywhere from 3 miles off the marina to 35 miles out along the different banks; with 50 to 196 fathoms in depth, provide excellent feeding ground for blue, white and hacthed marlin; sail, spear and swordfish.

Other species such as dorado, yellow fin tuna, wahoo, grouper, hammerhead, six gill and mako shark, albacora, cobia, king fish, are also present.

Usually the boats start at 08:30 a.m. when you and your party are picked up at the hotel lobby and transferred to the marina.

Our various billfishing programs include:
DAY BILLFISHING: Enjoy the excitement of big game and have fun while at it.
SWORDFISH SPECIAL: Your choice of day time 08:30 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. or night fishing from 04:00 p.m.to 01:00 a.m.
BIG GAME MARATHON: Start your day fishing at 09:00 a.m. going after blue, white marlin or sailfish, afternoon bottom fishing for grouper and evening swordfish, returning to the dock at midnight.

Our peak seasons are:

  • Jan. - May for blue marlin and yellow fin tuna.

  • Summer for swordfish and big blue marlin.

  • Sep. - Dec. for white marlin and grand slam action.
